This is "L" and she has grown into such a little beauty over the past year. She was beautiful as a newborn of course (which was the last time I saw her) but now she's a stunning almost-one-year-old. And her Mommy wins the award for being the most prepared for a shoot!! :) There was pink everywhere, balloons, cake, hats, crowns, flowers...it was so much fun! Look at this gorgeous face:

The problem with doing sessions for friends? They sometimes get put on the back burner while I finish other sessions. And for that--to this sweet family--I am so sorry.
And now, here is a sneak peek--I am so happy for you guys. Both of your boys are beautiful! I'm including my favorites because I made you wait SO long.

Well Mr. Ike started to make an appearance during this shoot. And for a natural-light photographer like me, that means...well, not a lot of natural light! But, we did what we could.
I've been lucky enough to work with this family before and was so happy to see how their little girl is growing and WALKING. She was on. the. go. but was lots of fun and so sweet. She even wanted me to hold her at the end (of course I said yes!!).
Before the rain we were able to take just a few pics outside. Here she is--walking:)
And once we were inside trying to make use of what little light we had: (I'm pretty sure she has one of the prettiest little faces I've ever seen)
This last one is for her Daddy. He loves to do this little trick with her, and by the looks of her face, she loves it too!

I received one of the sweetest emails this morning from a very special client that convinced me I needed to post some updated pictures of my little lady. I keep having people tell me they check my blog for her pics and I haven't put any up in a while. So here are two recent ones (I'm a bit ridiculous when it comes to all of this "girl stuff" after having two boys!).

I had a shoot with a little guy that I've had the pleasure of working with three times now! He is super fast and makes me work, but we always have fun together. What kind of fun, you ask? Well, we played peek-a-boo, looked at fish and jumped on a little bridge...just to name a few:) And we did all of this in the Texas sun! He was such a good sport though. Here's a little peek for his mom and dad.
